Automatic ohmmeters for six winding transformers MTO3XX

MTO3XX series transformer ohmmeters provide automatic resistance measurement on eight inputs/six windings. They save test time by testing all six windings without disconnecting and reconnecting wires. In addition, the simultaneous magnetization of the windings ensures fast and reliable measurements even on large delta transformers on the low voltage side. In addition, MTO3XX series ohmmeter wires are interchangeable with TTR series three-phase turn ratio meter wire sets, which eliminates the additional time spent on connecting wires when measuring the turns ratio.

The MTO3XX series ohmmeters are the latest addition to Megger's wide range of products and are implemented on a common digital platform that allows users to interface with other compatible Megger transformer test instruments. • The MTO300 can be controlled from an external PC or other Megger instruments with a built-in computer such as the DELTA3000, DELTA4310, TTR330 and FRAX150. • The MTO330 has a built-in computer and can be used to control other Megger products such as the TTR300, TTR310, FRAX99, FRAX101, DELTA2000, DELTA4110 and MLR10.

Once connected, the MTO3XX measures the resistance of all windings without any reconnection. The testing procedure is simple and efficient. One end of a set of measuring cables is connected to each input/terminal of the transformer using a special, so-called clamp or Kelvin probe. The other ends of this cable are connected to an MTO3XX ohmmeter. The instrument will automatically measure the selected resistances of both high and low voltage windings. The test sequence can be selected: measurement on 6 windings with simultaneous magnetization of the windings, measurement on 3 high-voltage and low-voltage windings separately, or testing on one winding.
